 Welcome to my Student Teaching Portfolio! 

I am a Student Teacher from Elmhurst College. I was fortunate enough to be able to work with both Sophomores and Seniors at a local suburban high school. As part of the experience, I have collected artifacts from several of my classes and from different units to showcase my use of the Illinois Professional Teaching Standards as well as my ability to lesson plan and create lessons that link over a course of time. Throughout the pages of this site you will see three different events that took place over the course of several days. For all of them I was able to give students an assessment, see their feedback, adapt my teaching style and then reassess for improvement. 

You will see a Sophomore essay related to a Shakespeare play, a Senior Short Cultivation Theory blog assignment, and a Sophomore Poetry unit. There were several other events I could have used, so it was hard to pick just these three.  I hope you enjoy the ones I picked!
